Do not read depth as drought severity

Raw depth is strongly controlled by local geology, well construction and aquifer setting. A 100-foot water level at one well is not inherently more drought-stressed than a 20-foot level at another. This map therefore does not create a groundwater drought score. Drought interpretation requires each well's historical context, such as USGS/NGWMN percentiles.

The map makes no automatic requests, requires an explicit button press, enforces a 60-second client cooldown, requests only the visible bounding box, and caps responses at 500 records.
