Official alerts may describe dangerous currents, breaking waves, surf height, beach erosion or hazards near piers and jetties. This map preserves that context but does not report lifeguard staffing, beach closures or conditions between observation points.

Fact: alert categories, times, descriptions and shapes come from NWS. Limit: water and shoreline conditions can change quickly and vary inside every alert area. Read the full official alert and follow local beach-safety guidance.
