Official alerts may describe hazardous winds, waves, thunderstorms or seas affecting vessels and nearshore operations. This map preserves that wording but does not route vessels, report port closures, estimate wave height where absent, or calculate a proprietary marine-risk score.

Fact: alert categories, times, descriptions and shapes come from NWS. Limit: marine conditions can change quickly and vary inside every alert area. Read the full official alert and follow Coast Guard, port and local-authority guidance.
